In 1983 owner Chef Paul, grew up working in family-owned Chinese restaurants, in Springville, UT. His family later moved to Phoenix, where he continued to work in the restaurant industry, and grew an appreciate for Mexican food, Mexican culture, and professional wresting, both in the US and in Mexico. He combined these cuisines for his friends, with great success, and decided to bring his love for food and for professional wrestling to his customers.
